Kari is a character in Axiom Verge 2, found in the Giguna Steppes, in what was formerly Clifftown. She is part of Elizabeth Hammond's former research team to head to Kiengir, and is now stuck alongside the rest of them. She expresses to Indra how she wants to go back to Jonestown, but is inspired by Indra's independence.
After Indra meets Damu and traverses the Breach, coming into physical contact with Kari will infect her, turning her into a Proto-Xedur not long after.
