Description

"These tablets appear to be written in a text similar to cuneiform."[1]

In Axiom Verge, Notes are collectibles that contain additional information regarding the lore and background of the game. These notes are written by various characters in the game's lore — some appearing in the game and some not.

Axiom Verge

Types of Notes

Notes can be divided into 4 groups as outlined in this image on the right.

Digital Papers

These 10 notes are purple and written in English by Athetos (or one of his clones).

Rusalka Tablets

These 9 notes are green and usually written in Vykhyan by the Rusalki.
(Exceptions: #5 and #7 are in Sudran and #20 is in English.)

Clay Tablets

These 8 notes are light-tan and are written in Sudran by the Sudrans.

Faded Note

This note is brown and written in English by Trace.

Axiom Verge 2

Like the first game, there are four types of notes (although not the same types).

Newspapers

These two notes come from Earth, before 2049.

Digital Notes

These four notes also come from Earth, but after 2049.

White Paper Notes

These 12 notes were written by earthlings (except #37, but that's probably an oversight).

Clay Tablets

These 19(+1) notes were written by the inhabitants of Kiengir.
