Description
First found In Eribu on the way to acquiring the Nova Weapon, the Purple Wasp can also be found in Absu shortly after acquiring the Address Disruptor. They fly in a circular pattern around a Hive, shooting yellow pellets at a downward angle towards Trace. They are continually spawned from a Hive, with up to 3 swarming around it at once. They continue swarming until they are destroyed or corrupted using the Address Disruptor.
Interestingly the Axiom Verge Multiverse edition artbook calls it Spitbug.
Corrupted Form
When corrupted, the Purple Wasp takes on the behaviour of a Small Butterfly.
