In-game Axiom verge makes a distinction between Weapons, Powerups, and Upgrades. Playstation Trophies will refer to Upgrades as "Tools" and "Abilities". The following is a list of all Upgrades that can be collected throughout the game.

List of Upgrades in Axiom Verge

	Laser Drill	A high-powered drill capable of cutting through rock.
	Field Disruptor	Alters local physics to augment jumping ability.
	Bioflux Accelerator 1	Causes mutation at max health.
	Modified Lab Coat	Double-tap and hold while pressing against a wall to teleport across.
	Enhanced Drone Launch	Increases range of remote drone.
	Trenchcoat	Double-tap to teleport in any direction.
	Drone Teleport	Teleports you to the location of your remote drone.
	Sudran Key	Used to bypass certain doors on Sudra.
	Red Coat	Double-tap to teleport. Damages tiles and enemies in your path.
	Passcode Tool	Manipulate reality with encoded strings (use menu).
	Bioflux Accelerator 2	Causes mutation at max health.
	Remote Drone	Fire to launch a remote drone, which you may detonate at any time to return to Trace.
	Address Disruptor	Corrupts or de-corrupts weaker blocks and enemies.
	Address Disruptor 2	Upgrades the power of the Address Disruptor.
	Grapple	Fires a grapple that allows you to swing from the rocks it latches onto.
	Address Bomb	Concentrates the power of the Address Disruptor into a powerful explosion. Requires bomb ammo.

Axiom Verge 2

In Axiom Verge 2, the variety of upgrades is significantly less, though there is a lot more backstory and lore regarding the most prevalent type of upgrade: Arms. They are used to give Indra special abilities during her missions. They are made of dust-like nanomachines, stored in urns and assigned to a specific Wielder. Breaking these urns will assign them to Indra, letting her use their abilities. Before the events of the game, several Arms were abandoned and hidden away, so they are littered all over Kiengir. There are also various other items throughout the world, ranging from technological to traditional human craft.

	Compass	A lapis lazuli pendant that is lit up on one side, as if pointing like a compass.
	Diviner's Gem	Chalcedony gemstone that fits perfectly within the compass.
	Apocalypse Flask	Augment your powers and abilities by (x) point(s). Apply within the skills menu.
	Eye Ring	Allows you to see in the dark without the use of a flashlight.
	Carnelian Ring	Charge attacks cause the Bronze Axe to fire a projectile.
	Ensi's Bracelet	Press down and attack with the Double Axe to perform a downward slam.
	Breach Attractor	Pulls breach portals towards you.
