Against all advice, I have been doing tests with the antenna transmitters, and have learned much. The Lamassu claims that understanding this is taboo - it expects us to build weapons without knowledge of how they work. This might have been enough for my father or my father's father, who think of it like a magic spell, but if we are to have any success against the Udug we cannot go forth blindly.
