Kur is the next area that Trace travels through after Zi. It is an arid area with brown and tan rocks and ancient ruins in caverns. It eventually ascends from underground to the forested surface mountain slopes and higher on into ice crags in the mountains, where snowfall occurs. It also has Thorn Maze rooms with flowers, and some pools of pink liquid that can harm Trace. Trace can access Katrahaska's room after the boss fight.
