Veruska

Description

Veruska is a Rusalka called "The Dreamer". Upon first finding her, she is in disrepair and Elsenova tells Trace that she "is dangerous, but is our ally" and she needs Repair Drones.

Veruska speaks in pseudo riddles and metaphors. She often talks of "dreaming" for others, implying that such events will come true. In this way, Veruska's dreams may be a kind of prophecy, allowing her to see the future. She is also apparently capable of creating Dream Worlds for other beings, possibly using the same technology that allows Elsenova to watch Trace wherever he goes.

Elsenova's remark about Veruska being "dangerous" may be in reference to the idea that Veruska is able to kill other Rusalki. In the Note titled "Oracca", she asks the High Priestess of Sudra to move Oracca to a larger room or, at the very least, bring Oracca to Veruska so that "I might kill her properly."

After turning on the Repair Drones, Trace can return to Veruska to receive the Passcode Tool.
