Most boss battles use the song "Trace Rising". Uruku, Vision, and Athetos use the song "Apocalypse" instead. Sentinel and Xedur Hul do not have songs of their own; instead the theme of Mar-Uru "Without Place" continues playing throughout their fights.
"Trace Rising" and "Apocalypse" can be replayed using the Passcodes TRACK0-000003 and TRACK0-000010, respectively.[1]

Unlike the first game, almost all bosses are optional, with the exception of accessing the ending, and achieving 100% completion.
