I realized that not keeping the old names anywhere would "break" a few walkthroughs/discussions, so I will keep them next to new ones (for now). I'm also adding references. Tag: 2017 source edit |

Description
"What happens when a giant snail is infected with a transformative nanomachine virus."[1]
The Red Snailborg[2][3] (aka Red Nautilus[4]) is the first creature you come across in Eribu. It resembles a Gastropod (Snail) having a red foot, and a red shell with a green pulsating dot in the center. It slides along the contour of solid walls, floors and ceilings. It is unaffected by gravity. It only stops moving when destroyed or corrupted.
Corrupted Form
When corrupted, the Red Snailborg stops moving, but can still harm Trace.
Trivia
Red and Blue Snailborgs share the same AI as the Geemers from Metroid, they will crawl along floors, walls and ceilings. When they reach a corner they rotate 90 degrees before continuing. The Snailborg also suffers from the classic glitch that plagues Geemers, shooting a block they are crawling on causes them to be stuck in mid air rotating 90 degrees constantly.
