Malka is a character in Axiom Verge 2. She is the first NPC met by Indra on Kiengir and she is found at Mount Ebih, next to its border with The Glacier. She is the only person found in the base on Mount Ebih, telling Indra that not many from Hammond's team survived. She gives Indra basic information on the nature of Kiengir: the people, what the team encountered when they came, and the supposed convergent evolution of Kiengir's Mesopotamia-like society.
After Indra meets Damu and traverses the Breach, coming into physical contact with Malka will infect her, causing her to turn into a Proto-Xedur not long after.
