Description
The Tie Flighter[1][2] (aka T-Type Sentry[3]) is a spherical grey robotic enemy that hovers in place until Trace gets near. Once activated by proximity, its shell opens into two halves revealing a smaller central sphere suspended by bars that are attached to each half. The core has a pulsing purple dot that fires a purple laser beam straight downward.
The Tie Flighter hovers near Trace, attempting to stay above him, and alternates between firing its laser and closing its shell to charge. Only its core can be harmed by any of Trace's weapons.
Corrupted Form
Once corrupted, the Tie Flighter is completely under Trace's control. It will mimic everything he does: It moves in the direction he's moving (it will still move if Trace locks his position by holding "RB Button / Keyboard A"), and it will fire its weapon when Trace fires his.
It is necessary to use this behaviour to obtain the Reverse Slicer in the left wing of the mid-point of Mar-Uru.
