Description

The Pillbug[1] (officially: Potato[2][3] (as in "potato bug")) is a shiny silver colored many-legged creature that crawls slowly back and forth on the ground. When Trace approaches or shoots one, it curls into a sphere and moves faster by rolling. While balled up, one is completely invulnerable (except to corruption).

Corrupted Form

When corrupted, they move at 1/2 their regular speed.

Trivia

Real pillbugs, also called potato bugs (among other names), are tiny crustaceans (not insects) of the woodlice family. They are characterized by their ability to curl up into balls as a means of defense or in order to retain moisture; a process known as volvation.
