"AREA 9 ATHETOS'S HIDEOUT - MAR-URU: Hidden in the most dangerous place possible – at the outer fringes of the Breach – Athetos has managed to survive all of the Rusalki attempts at his life."[1]

Mar-Uru is the final explorable area of Sudra, accessible only from Ukkin-Na. It starts off with a region consisting of ancient Sudran architecture, but soon leads into a high-tech, mechanical area which serves as Athetos' stronghold. The theme here is called "Without Place" and can be played back using the Passcode TRACK0-000017.

Etymology

The word mar-uru can be transliterated as 𒈥𒋽, read as mar-ru, mar-uru, or maru, meaning mighty storm, stormwind, or hurricane in Sumerian[2][3]. Additionally, uru (𒌷) is the Sumerian term for city[4][5], making the location of Mar-Uru have a double meaning, possibly being "storm city" or something along the lines.
