Description
The Donaught[1][2] (aka Beholder[3], or Beholder Sentry[4]) is a medium-sized floating robot with a round silver casing and a single bright green central eye. This eye is its only vulnerable part.
During the final battle in the game, Athetos will summon three Donaughts to attack Trace. As they are Athetos' last line of defense, the Donaughts will relentlessly pursue and attack Trace with a variety of beam-like attacks. In the first wave, they fire straight horizontal lasers with infinite range. Those summoned during the second wave fire slightly spreading triple shots. And those summoned in the third wave fire large blasts.
If Trace manages to destroy one, another will be immediately summoned to take its place. However, killing them is still advantageous as they can drop health for Trace to collect.
Corrupted Form
Donaughts can only be corrupted using the powerful Address Bomb. In their glitched state, they move slower and the lasers they fire are misaligned (offsetted up, ⮣), which makes them easier to duck under. Also, the other kinds of projectiles they can fire are much slower and also misaligned.
