Description
The Night Ray[1] is a tube-like light-purple plant that blows steam from the holes at the top of its three growths about every nine seconds. There's a green leaf-like object with pink dots on its outer edge that is blown high into the air by the steam from the tubes. Trace must use this as a platform to ascend to the higher areas of Edin.
The Night Ray and the steam it blows out are completely harmless, and it is not affected by any of Trace's weapons or upgrades. Trace can slow the green thing's descent by bumping it from below.
