Axiom Verge 2
In Axiom Verge 2, the variety of upgrades is significantly less, though there is a lot more backstory and lore regarding the most prevalent type of upgrade: Arms. They are used to give Indra special abilities during her missions. They are made of dust-like nanomachines, stored in urns and assigned to a specific Wielder. Breaking these urns will assign them to Indra, letting her use their abilities. Before the events of the game, several Arms were abandoned and hidden away, so they are littered all over Kiengir. (See the category page for more details and a full list of Arms.)

There are also various other items throughout the world, ranging from technological to traditional human craft.
The Mushroom Poofb Walking Shrub is a green broccoli-like creature with many leaves, a thick stalk, and many roots/legs which it uses to travel, walking back and forth across whichever platform it is on.

When Trace is close, it pauses occasionally to launch volleys of sky-blue harmful spores into the air which fly up in an arc around it. The spores then fall continuing their arc until they hit the ground or reach a projectile range of 240[pixels?]. This can be dangerous as they are often perched higher than Trace, and the spores can cover a large portion of the screen below.

Corrupted Form
They move at 1/2 their uncorrupted form's speed, but fire spores just as often. The spores fired will also move at half speed.
Ukkin-Na (council rock in sumerian) is the next area that Trace can fully explore after Indi. "Clings to and travels along any surface it hits."

The Orbital Discharge is a weapon that fires pink spheres that upon contact with a wall will turn into pink circular blades that run along the wall.

This is highly useful for enemies that travel near or along walls, such as Snailborgs. It can also be very useful against the ancient Sentry Bots found in E-Kur-Mah, due to their tendency to get hung up on tight corners.

Location
The Orbital Discharge is found in a hidden room on the bottom-left side of Eribu (near the entrance to Absu). It is only accessible by entering a special Passcode in the Passcode Tool. Standing in the correct room and entering the correct Passcode will reveal a new door that the player can enter.

By manually building a table of which Sudran letters correspond to the English alphabet by turning the translation passcode on and off, it is possible to manually translate the Passcode inscribed in Sudran on the roof of the room at the bottom of Eribu and gain access to the Orbital Discharge.
