Description
Indra Chaudhari is the protagonist of Axiom Verge 2. She is a mysterious billionaire who owns the worldwide Globe 3 conglomerate.

Indra’s physical characteristics include having black or very dark brown hair, with scraggly, gray accents and a noticeable, possibly colored large, light gray patch of hair on the right side of her scalp. Her hair reaches to her chest area, with the gray accents continuing all the way down, possibly showing that she's old, though her face does not suggest so. She also has dark skin, very dark blue-tinted sunglasses and she seems to wear very dark red lipstick, or her lips are naturally the color.

Indra also wears gray clothes with buttons running through the middle and sleeves, with a two-part gray cloak that reaches behind her. Under the gray jacket and cloak she seems to be wearing a dark blue or indigo shirt.

She is revealed fairly early on to have a daughter named Samara, and she is looking for her.

Story
Spoilers
Prior to the events of the game, Globe 3 purchases Hammond Corp, letting them gain control of Elizabeth Hammond's antarctic base after it had been abandoned for a year. Starting the game, Indra arrives at the base via helicopter to investigate it and see what technology has been left there. However, she is led to a one-way elevator that takes her to the world of Kiengir, where the game takes place.

Through the events of the game, Indra becomes skilled with weapons, explores the world, and obtains nanomachines called Arms, which help her in her journeys and give her special abilities. The first Arm she obtains, named Amashilama, guides her through Kiengir, eventually to a machine which she promises will sever Indra's consciousness between her and the remote drone she controls, letting the two exist independently and be able to merge together. However, this process is used to Amashilama's advantage, as she takes control of Indra's body to carry out the plan she had all along - destroying A'ansur.

With the help of the Lamassu, Indra, now stuck as a drone, must try to combat Amashilama to gain her body back and prevent Amashilama from destroying the universe. In the process though, Amashilama discards of Indra's body in favor of inhabiting one of the Siuna. Indra assumes that her original body is dead, and goes to fight Amashilama. At the end of the fight, Indra's body arrives to hold back Amashilama while Indra sets off a Breach bomb. This kills Indra's human body and its conciousness, keeping Indra stuck as a drone forever and stuck on Kiengir. She no longer cares about going home, however, and instead seeks technology that will make Damu flesh and blood again. In a secret post-credits scene, the Indra who sacrificed herself to defeat Amashilama reunites with Samara and Hammond in what appears to be an afterlife.

Speculation
It is heavily implied that Indra becomes the Rusalka known as Ophelia. In the ending cutscene for Axiom Verge 2, Indra laments about how she didn't really feel like she was worthy of her name since her past body died holding Amashilama down, saying how she doesn't feel like 'Indra' anymore. Furthermore, the last image ending credits depicts a full-body image of Indra's latest form, her face and hair greatly mirroring the forward-facing Ophelia's facial structure and wiring.
It’s Axiom Verge.

Hiding in a cargo lift in Antarctica is what appears to be an ancient, alternate Earth, complete with mountains, lakes, deserts, and the ruins of a civilization. But you get the feeling that something else is lurking just past the fringes of reality, waiting to pull you in.
Features
* Climb your way across a variety of terrains
* Exploit enemies through hacking
* Venture off with your remote drone

Gameplay
A small preview of items & enemies:
* Urns: If you break open one of these you’ll gain new powers and abilities from the entities trapped inside. But at what cost?
* Compass: This lapis lazuli pendant sparkles with light. As you draw nearer to an urn, the light coalesces to point in its general direction.
* Drones: These mechanical foes attack you on sight. But like anything with a computer at its core, they can be hacked, each for varying effects.
* Save Shrines: Every time you stop at one of these, a tiny piece of you is left behind. This allows you to be reborn if you take too much damage to continue.
* ...And something else. You sense there is a bigger secret to this world. What could it be?
Life. Afterlife. Real. Virtual. Dream. Nightmare. It's a thin line.

Axiom Verge is a 2D retro-syled metroidvania action-adventure game inspired by such classics as Rygar, Contra, Castlevania, Bionic Commando, Blaster Master, and Metroid. It was created, developed, stylized and composed by Tom Happ. He worked during the day as a developer for Petroglyph Games but worked on his own game during his off hours. Sony contacted Tom Happ and offered funding through one of their programs and Tom was able to work on the game full time. Five years later, the project is finished and ready for the public. Thanks to the exposure from Sony, the game has already grown in popularity and was GameSpot's Best of E3 in 2014.

The game was released on March 31st, 2015 for the PS4. Initial release will included a 10% discount off the $19.99 price for PS+ subscribers.

The PS Vita version was initially delayed due to technical complications with the porting process (as well as Paternity Leave), but was eventually released on April 19, 2016.

Purchasing the game for PS4 also includes a download of the Vita version and purchases made prior to the Vita release will grant a retroactive cross-buy download.

Features

*Expansive, non-linear exploration of 9 labyrinthine, interlocking areas.
*Unique tools and abilities, lots of weapons, and tons of health/power/attribute upgrades.
*Combat with dozens of unique creatures and bosses.
*Glitches allowing players to break past the boundaries of normal gameplay.
*Speedrun Mode – Play with a streamlined interface and additional features to facilitate speedrunning.

Gameplay

Players play as Trace, a scientist who awoke after a lab explosion only to find himself in a strange new environment. It will be up to players to uncover the truth about this new world as well as Trace's role in it. One of the features that is unique to this game compared to other metroidvania games is the use of glitches. Anyone who has played older 2D platform type games remembers the feeling they get when they find a way to glitch something out in the game and go into areas or do things they weren't expected to be able to do. In this game, the developer made sure those possibilities not only existed but hopes that players will discover and use them. His hope is to bring back the "magical feeling" of discovering a glitch. It could be anything from an unexplored secret area not shown on the map, an item with bizzare stats, or character glitches. It is up to the players to find them.

To help players along, the developer has also provided Powerups, which he descibes as the "lifeblood of an exploration based game". Some Powerups give players access to areas they were unable to get to before and open up new sections of the game. Others include weapons like the Nova, which unlike the basic weapon players start with, can be shot in two different ways. The basic way is to shoot it like a normal weapon, which is slow. The other ways is to detonate it while it's mid-air and make it split into 6 pieces. Players can use this to hit targets that are not in a direct line of sight. Another powerup is the Drill. Players acquire this after defeating the first boss and will need it to destroy rocks to progress through certain areas. Another is the Address Disruptor, which acts as a type of glitch ray that will corrupt reality around the player and cause unique things to happen.
Description
DECADES LATER… OR IS IT CENTURIES EARLIER?<br>
Life. Afterlife. Real. Virtual. Dream. Nightmare. It’s a thin line.<br>

* Exploit enemies through hacking
